Thank you for getting your mitts on this record. I wanted to take up some space to show my gratitude for the journey that has been the recording/collaborating/creating of this album. A few years ago I was in a slump of sorts. Couldn’t write. Didn’t feel the inspiration to create. Luckily I have some of the most supportive, creative and talented friends that didn’t let me stay that way. In March 2018, through my collaboration with the Legacy Sounds Artist Collective (see credits), Omar Zehery and I started to record what would become this album at Legacy Sounds Recording Studio, hidden away in an abandoned office space in downtown Lima, OH. We didn’t know what it would be except that we would use it to “purge” all of my old ideas while attempting to breathe new life into these songs. And what a wonderful trip it was. The result is what you hold in your hands now: Ghosts Myths + Me. On this record are some of the best musicians I’ve had the pleasure of working with, as well as some of the most fun experimenting I’ve ever done. I'm excited for this record to be one of many to showcase the vibrant music coming out of our collective and from our neck of the woods. I hope you enjoy listening to this album as much as we enjoyed making it.
